Festive Cookie Frosting
Bronner's Sugar Cookie Frosting Recipe
Yields: Frosting for 3 to 4 dozen cookies.
- 2/3 cup Shortening
- 2 ½ tsp. Powdered Vanilla
- ¼ tsp. Salt
- 2 lb.Bag of Powdered Sugar
- 5-6 Tbsp. Milk (more if needed)
Beat the shortening, powdered vanilla and salt on high until fluffy.
Next, add in the powdered sugar and mixing on low speed,gradually add in the milk until evenly blended.
Then beat on HIGH speed until smooth and creamy-about 2 min.
Divide and add food coloring as desired, and decorate with knife or frosting bag.
Extra frosting can be stored in the refrigerator for up to three weeks, or up to one month in the freezer, if stored in an airtight container.
